Trying to get a good picture....

I was trying to get a nice picture of the kids for our Christmas cards, but Lindsey was not going to cooperate at all for me. Here's some of the mayhem that ensued....I'll try again soon to see if she's in a better mood. She just went to her 15 month well check yesterday and got 3 shots so she's still a bit feverish today...probably not the best time to try. Lindsey is still nice and tall (32") and light at (21 lbs). So far so good.......Just not for pictures!
(*Side Note* William just realized that he finally has a loose tooth today!! He was so excited that he forgot to bring his backpack to school! :)

What a Happy Thanksgiving

This year's Thanksgiving was like any other: running back and forth from house to house :) We did Thanksgiving dinner with the whole Bower family on Wednesday night and the kids all had so much fun playing together. Lindsey got a little bruise on her forehead from the ottoman that she was climbing on (in the above picture) and also ran into Bryn when they were chasing each other around the hallway, but other than that, all went well and it was a very nice night--it even snowed. The bottom pictures are of Lindsey eating the pumpkin pie that I made. She ate three pieces of it that day!!!

Ride 'Em, Cowgirl!!

I caught Lindsey riding her puppy this morning. It was so funny that I had to capture it on video! Notice The Wiggles in the background?!?!?

15 Months Old!

Lindsey is 15 months old today!! Lindsey loves playing more with her toys now. She really enjoys playing with her shape sorter house by stacking the blocks on the bottom and by putting the shapes through their appropriate openings. She also loves her star stacking ring and her Little People play sets--animals and all. She still loves to climb on everything. Lindsey is trying to talk more, too. She tries to say cookie, hat, and thank you--which ends up sounding like "gee ga." But, she says it at the right time, so we do know what she's talking about. Also, Lindsey had her first trip to the emergency room last Wednesday. She went down a covered slide with William and came out screaming in pain. I was afraid she broke her leg, or something, because she kept collapsing on the ground and screaming all at the same time. Everything turned out okay, but we never actually figured out what she hurt exactly. The doctor figured that she twisted or pulled something. She spent a good amount of time crawling, and now she is back to walking, but still has a little bit of a limp. She still loves to play outside and loves to chase and kick soccer balls. So much fun being a big girl! The video clip at the bottom is of Lindsey chasing Mongo with a dog toy (and vice versa). She thought is was sooo funny that he kept following her around in circles around the living room.
Next week is Thanksgiving already--can you believe it?!?! Gobble, gobble!

Spooky Big Brother!

Here's a picture of William from Halloween night! Lindsey didn't even seem to mind William's face being painted like that. I thought of painting my own face, but was afraid that she would be scared of me--or not even realize that it was me! We'll see next year:)
