While my mom and I were out shopping for an Easter dress for Lindsey today she said the word "cookie!" I was soo excited!! We were in the shoe store while she was making a noise that sounded like it and I started saying "cookie" and then she started saying it! We then promptly made our way over to Mrs. Field's and bought her a little, pink, princess cookie--and she kept saying "Cookie!!!!!" She has been saying it all afternoon since she has been home. This is Lindsey's fourth word. She has said other words in the past, but not consistently so we haven't counted them (like mama and dada, sadly). Also part of our shopping fun, and much to Lindsey's delight, Nana bought her an adorable turtle purse that she is running around with in the video. She hasn't let go of it since we got home. Too cute! I can see her playing with that for years to come. Hopefully the cookie won't end up in there. What a great day!!!
