14 Months Old!

Look at my big girl!! 14 months old already. Wow. Lindsey's more recent developments now include answering our questions by demonstrating to us what she wants. For example, if you ask her any of the three questions: Are you tired, do you need a nap, is it time to go to bed? She will run into her room and put her hand on her crib. If you ask her if she needs a new diaper, she will run over to her changing table. She is so interactive and sweet now. She still loves to read books and now a new favorite activity is reading her flash cards! She can't get enough of that :) Lindsey also has a new second cousin, Sadie, who was born last Thursday. Plus, she'll have another new second cousin on the 25th! So many new babies in the Bower family this year:)

Weekend Fun

Lindsey got to play with her two cousins this weekend. Well, okay, they're second cousins and she only played with Bryn since Mark is only a few months old :) Regardless, she had a fun time and it eventually wore her out. The pictures and video aren't in the correct order ( I tried, blogger flipped 'em). Lindsey played with Bryn, then on the way home in the car is when she was playing peek-a-boo, and then when we got home she basically passed out on the couch. Silly baby :)

Old Video Clips

Okay, I know this isn't new video, but the video feature on the blog is so I thought I would post a few of our favorite video clips that not all of you may have seen. I hope you all enjoy the clips as much as we do.

Jason thought it would be funny if he "played air drums" by using Lindsey's arms. Keep in mind that she was only 5 months old at this point and not as strong as she is now :) You'll see what I mean.

One day while Lindsey was laying in her crib, I thought it would be funny to tickle her a little bit and get her laughing on video. At first she thought it was funny but then it quickly turned South and she started to cry. Just a funny little clip.

GO PACK,GO!

Lindsey received an adorable Packers outfit from her family for her birthday and she finally wore it for the first time yesterday! She looked so cute in her little pink and white cheerleader uniform:) And best of all, the Packers won yesterday. Go Pack, Go! Go Lindsey, Go!

13 Months Old!--On the 13th!!

Lindsey is 13 months old today! She has changed in so many ways just recently. Over the last couple weeks Lindsey has started talking more. She now says Mama, Dada, Dog (which sounds like Doug), Keys, Open (at least a noise that sounds like the word "open" at the right time), and yesterday she said "Ya, Ya." She also is pretty proficient at climbing on and off the couch--as you can see in the first two pictures. Linds tries to dance and jump now to music. She understands questions or words cues, such as Juice, Food, Milk, Are You Hungry, and goes to the refrigerator for those items. She also jumps (most of the time) when you ask her to. She points to items that she would like, but might not be able to reach. AND, through all of this, she has had 2 molars up top come through, and two bottom teeth still working on coming through. Lindsey pretends to listen to a phone when she holds it by her head, and pretends to drink from a can of soda. She has been VERY busy developmentally over the last couple weeks. WOW!! Way to 'grow', Lindsey!!!!

Hagen Family Visit

Lindsey's Great Aunt & Uncle and Great Grandmother came up to visit last weekend for her first birthday since they were out of town during her party at Grandma Bower's. Lindsey had a wonderful time playing her relatives and the new toys that she received from them. We even had a couple cupcakes to celebrate the occasion :)
